Quantum is dope producer Bill Cosmiq and Salvador. You may know Bill Cosmiq from providing the majority of the sound bed for the new Cannibal Ox album. He and Salvador released the “Paragon EP” back in 2014 as The Quantum with features from vast aire and now this new EP entitled “Waves” features Vordul Mega. So if you are a fan of the OX like myself their work is right up your alley(in the same cold vein….see what I did there). Waves picks up where “the Paragon EP” left off, spacey/ethereal arrangement over boom bap drums with straight forward verses loaded with meaning begging to be decoded by heads who enjoy that type of word play. If waves is any indication of what is to come from The Quantum, I am definitely a fan…..ENJOY!
