The Heavy

Don’t you love it when you come accross something that makes you say” how did I miss this”? Recently a good friend put me on to The Heavy a British Rock band with a soul,blues,breakbeat sound mixed with 70’s horror/pulp film scores like say something from goblin. He let me listen to his copy of “The Glorious dead” and it has been on repeat in my tune library ever since yesterday. As a vinyl collector and a fan of 70’s rock in general I am one of those nostalgia heads that enjoy the sounds of the not so distant past. I am going to use this intro to their music as a doorway to check out their earlier work like “The house that Dirt built”. If it is anything like this I am a fan without question.
