Hip-hop has always had a direct relationship with comics. Fantogram recently released a cool series entitled “hip-hop family tree” telling the story of many hip hop legends in comic format. I felt like that was brilliantly done and the art was awesome. They even made the pages resemble the type of paper comics were printed on during the 70’s. Well to drive that point home further one of my favorite hip-hop groups RTJ and Marvel comics have teamed up to give us limited addition covers of two up coming books. The titles getting the RTJ treatment are Deadpool and Howard the Duck. As a hardcore comic book and hip-hop head this is like a state of nirvana for me. So Excelsior people! Well Played RTJ
