The Phony PPL have been making noise for some time on the indie circuit. For those who do not know they are a dope collective of free spirits and creatives out of Brooklyn. Their sound reminds me of a native tongue meets soul to soul/loose ends. Almost like what if the plugs had a live band element rather than prince Paul’s uncanny sampling skills back in the day. I love the sound and feel of this group and this new jawn “end of the night” will remain in my rotation for a good while. ENJOY!
