After dropping the dope collabo “24 hours” featuring Billy Daze from M.O.P. Monch kicks 2019 off with another blazing track entitled “yayo”. It is a dope song about one of the most infamous drugs of all time(cocaine). This is similar to the work he did on gun violence with “bullet” in its eerie delivery. The beat is a banging frantic boombap back drop in which Monch raps almost as yayo aka cocaine itself, The visuals used to convey the message is a spliced together series of videos from pop culture movies around cocaine. I look forward to the project that this if from by Monch I just hope it is a consistent release with fewer pop reaches than the past. ENJOY!
