Birmingham indie lyricist is being extra prolific this year and dropping more dope work on us. Fresh off the heals of his awesome and introspective “Stones Cry” release, he connects with long time collaborator John McNaughton to form “Nerves Baddington”. Nerves is a kind of hip-hop rock hybrid which has more of a trip-hop feel to me. The first single from these guys is on point. I am digging the production and the lyrics. The beat has just the right amount of guitar to complement what is going on in the song and set a nice back drop. Hopefully they continue down this path because I would love to peep the full experiment. ENJOY! run it below
