After the turbulent allegations surrounding Elzhi and whether he would release a project, It is nice to hear from him. I have always been a fan of El and I know artist require time to work so I stayed out of the internet allegations thrown at him. Plus I grew up in a era when artists took years to drop new material and now this microwave culture wants dope efforts in a month but I digress. “Cosign” finds Elzhi being lyrically potent as ever letting the world know he can do this all without the cosigns i.e. on his on. The beat is a mellow banger that fits well with the emotion of the track and Skonie adds a ok touch at the end to round the song out. I hope this is a taste of what’s to come……ENJOY!
