I cannot stop listening to this song by Dem Atlas. In a just world he would get way more exposure and thoughtful hip-hop like this would get some shine but instead we are left with drug lord strip club anthems being played to people all day long. Artists like Dem Atlas is why I hate the Grammy awards, they never get hip-hop right and the genre is not properly broken into the genre pieces that other forms of music are broken into. I love the subject matter Dem covers on Drive north and the fact he expresses a very human, just live life vibe throughout the song. All I can say is support this guy by purchasing DWNR on Rhymesayer records and shout out to Rhymesayer for keeping the real hip-hop light on. ENJOY!
