Everyone that half way knows me, know that I am not a only a super human hip-hop head but a comic book collector and amateur illustrator. I grew up on the work of Kirby, Frazetta, Kubert etc…. WOW! first Cannibal OX announce a return and now Milestone media. Words cannot express how happy this makes me. I always felt like the characters of this universe deserved more development and attention in general. Just being after thoughts and cast offs in the DC universe is not good enough. I can’t wait to see … Read More “The Return of Milestone media” »

Run the Jewels and Marvel comics team up

Hip-hop has always had a direct relationship with comics. Fantogram recently released a cool series entitled “hip-hop family tree” telling the story of many hip hop legends in comic format. I felt like that was brilliantly done and the art was awesome. They even made the pages resemble the type of paper comics were printed … Read More “Run the Jewels and Marvel comics team up” »

Now here is a cool 3d interpretation of a 2d piece of art by Jake Parker from his skullchaser comic book. The 3D design was a project by artist Luis-Gomez-Goz of Spain and I would love to see a vinyl toy of this. Hey lets face it skull faced warriors are a classic.

Ok I have ignored adult swim for some time but this Mike Tyson Mysteries show is lining up to be on the venture brothers level of parody. It Parodies the 70’s mystery cartoon shows built around Scooby Doo and places Mike Tyson as the lead and foil with the of beat character being a ghost. … Read More “Check out the Hilarious Trailer For Adult Swim’s Upcoming Series ‘Mike Tyson Mysteries” »

I cannot wait to see how this turns out. A comic book based on a super fantastic idea of the life of Darryl McDaniels life, the legendary DMC from RUN DMC fame. The oldest surviving cover art from a Superman comic is Action Comics #15, dated August 1939. The Fred Guardineer-drawn cover sold at auction recently for $286,800, exceeding early estimates. A pioneer of the medium itself, Guardineer contributed two features to the seminal Action Comics #1, the comic book that introduced Superman.
