Ras Kass continues lighting a path in the underground and reminding us why he is one of the lyrical greats. Judging by the title many people are going to think it is inspired by Nas but this is actually inspired by a instrumental release from Montreal native Kaytranada. The production is dope and airy, Ras blazes each track effortlessly in braggadocio form. I wished it was more of a concept album on the state of hip-hop today today but I know how that kind of thing can drag a artist down unless it is done properly. This is great for fans of true school hiphop and Ras kass in general….ENJOY!
