Redman just torched the BET cypher a few weeks ago and now he drops some visuals to go with his first track off his forth coming “Muddy waters 2” album. I often fear when artists name new projects off classic albums or works that defined them as artists because they are almost impossible to live up to, but if anyone can follow suite it would be redman. He is your favorite rappers favorite rapper. He still delivers great bars with charisma(swag) and humor. He has not made the mistake of so many other legendary artist of trying to reinvent himself for a younger pop oriented audience but instead he stays in the true school hip-hop lane and smashes it. The single “Dope man” finds him catching wreck over a catchy banger produced by Rick Rock and the new human hook machine Stressmatic. I am telling you Stressmatic brings songs to life and he is a dope rapper on his own(go look up the federation). All these elements combined with Redman just doing him makes “Dope man” a banger through and through…I look forward to the full album. ENJOY!
