Prometheus Brown and Bambu “Lookin up”

This is a song from an album I’ve been bumping for a little over a year now. Prometheus brown aka Geo from blue scholars(the dope seattle based hip-hop collective). and Bambu formerly of the Native guns collective, came together to create a project entitled “Prometheus brown and Bambu walk into a bar” back in 2011(release on beat rock music). Bambu is one of my favorite revolutionary poet type emcees and Prometheus covers much of the everyman story as well but many times with more of a lighthearted delivery to offset the heavy message. Together they take us on a walk through the plight of filippino immigrants and poor people’s struggle in general, all while dropping incredible lines to prove they are the equal of many of the top flight emcees in the game.
