RIP hip-hop legend BIG BANK HANK. He passed away yesterday at the age of 57 succumbing to the complications of cancer(note that is the word in the blogesphere but not confirmed). Hank is a member of the legendary sugar hill gang for those who didn’t know i.e. the first group to prove hip-hop could have some cross over appeal and offer something outside of regional block parties. Though there was a controversy about the fact he took the verse from Grandmaster Casanova in the legendary song(which technically makes Casanova the first ghost writer in the game). The industry is haunted yo don’t kid yourself. But never the less RIP to Hank and his fame and thanks for kicking things off.
