M.anifest[1] (2)

M.anifest is a talented and internationally acclaimed emcee from Ghana. I followed his career ever since I got a copy of “the birds and the beats” his sophomore release back in 2009. While doing a little research I discovered that he has worked with everyone from Flea(of the red hot chili peppers) to Erykah Baduh. His sound is like slowed down afobeat meets Jazz and boom bap which provides the perfect sonic backdrop for his multilingual lyrical display. The content is usually subject matter steeped in the human experience coming from the lens of an artist that is a citizen of the world. Let this video below from his 2011 release “Immigrant Chronicles: Coming to America” be an introduction to a new musical experience. BOW!
