One half of the much celebrated hip-hop group cannibal ox is still doing music. Vaist Aire is known for his distinct voice and sci-fi/battle rap meets hood word play. “Royal Paper bag” off the “space illiad EP ” continues this theme nicely. The production is a spacey boom bap beat which is very fitting not only the theme but as a bed for vast aires wordplay. If you are a fan of 90’s “backpack rap” which developed the underground scene which of course Vast was a huge part of this will be in youe wheel house definitely. “brooklyns the brain and harlems the heart don’t forget that hip-hops a new york art” is the last line of the song and best describes the feel of the song.
