Jazzmine Garfield “Loves Bullet”

Jazzmine Garfield is songstress hailing from Birmingham AL with a sound that is so expansive and beautiful it is hard to nail down. She masterfully transitions from everything from folkish/soul to experimental/Jazz on her debut EP Loves bullet. If you are a fan of Eryka Badu,Sy Smith,Meshell Ndegeocello or Jay Davey then you understand the lane that this young lady fits in and the music takes a back seat to no one. My favorite jawns off this EP is “repeat”,”same ol same” and “Starlight Gaze” but again this whole EP is great. The only detraction I have is it is too short but it is a EP and as the old folks say leave them wanting more and I definitely do. ENJOY!
